Dear Ladies,

Image
Dear Ladies, If you're clocking 40 years old and yet no husband is coming,  Look for a guy you love either married or single and let him knack you and impregnate you. You need a child that will look after you at old age. Don't let anyone deceive you, Marriage is not an achievement, and it's not everybody that will get married. You can still be single with your own child and still be happy and fulfill your purpose here on earth. Stop waiting for something that may never happen. I'm only trying to make common sense. hmmmmm

BATTLE OF ZAMA ON OCTOBER 19, 202 BC

Image
BATTLE OF ZAMA ON OCTOBER 19, 202 BC The Battle of Zama was fought in 202 BC in what is now Tunisia between a Roman army commanded by Scipio Africanus and a Carthaginian army commanded by Hannibal. The battle was part of the Second Punic War and resulted in such a severe defeat for the Carthaginians that they capitulated. The Roman army of approximately 30,000 men was outnumbered by the Carthaginians who fielded either 40,000 or 50,000; the Romans were stronger in cavalry, but the Carthaginians had 80 war elephants. At the outset of the Second Punic War, in 218 BC, a Carthaginian army led by Hannibal invaded mainland Italy, where it campaigned for the next 16 years. In 210 BC Scipio took command of the faltering Roman war effort in Iberia (modern Spain and Portugal) and cleared the peninsula of Carthaginians in five years. He returned to Rome and was appointed consul in 205 BC. The following year his army landed near the Carthaginian port of Utica. The Carthaginians and their Numidian ...

After being lòst in the sea and reaching America thinking that it was India,

After being lòst in the sea and reaching America thinking that it was India, Còlumbus noted in his journal that some of the native people they met there told them that Blàck skinned people had come from the south-east in boats, trading in fold-tipped spears. Còlumbus also saw the metal goods from West Africa and even got some of them directly from the native Americans.  Chèmical analysis from these tips found by Columbus on spears in Amèrican show that the gold came from Africa. The world was already connected. After the fall of Granada, thousands of Moors left Spain that had been their home for seven hundred years to avoid living under Spanish yoke. They migrateď to Africa. Some stayed at North African coast and improved their knowledge of navigation. That knowledge may be the one used by Emperor Abubakari II to reach America. Most ancient civilizations had already circùmnavigated the globe. They just did not make of it a big dèal claiming that they had disc0vered it.

Everyone knows that childbirth isn't easy.

Image
Everyone knows that childbirth isn't easy. But what if pregnant patients could simply strap themselves to a table, spin at a high speed, and propel the baby out? In the 1960s, Charlotte and George Blonsky invented a contraption to do just that. Called the Blonsky device, the machine was designed to facilitate birth using centrifugal force. For safety, it came with neck, body, and thigh straps to hold down the pregnant person, and was also outfitted with a net meant to snatch up the baby after it flies out. As ridiculous as it sounds, the Blonskys actually got their patent approved in 1965 — though, perhaps fortunately, there's no evidence that the device was ever actually used. Read more about this bizarre invention:

Ghana Must Go bag.....

Image
Ghana Must Go bag..... Have you ever wondered why these bags are called " Ghana must Go"?. Well turns out there is a chilling and terrible story behind the name. Back in 1969 when Ghana just got their independence, cocoa was their main export and actually they were very rich and the whole economy was booming. This " booming" economy let alot of Nigerians into the country and at some point, foreigners made up around 20% of the total Ghanian population. But then a few years later, the price of cocoa felt and the whole economy was in a financial trouble, so this let their prime minister to depot all foreigners out of the country under the "Ghana Aliens Compliance Order" .  Then in 1970s , oil was discovered in Nigeria and suddenly Nigeria became one of the richest countries in Africa and Ghana was in a recession so alot of west Africans left their countries for Nigeria. Then in 1983, oil prices fell and again it was election season in Nigeria. Then in January...

MY SON FROM AMERICA !!!  On July 4, 1944, 2nd Lt Lonnie L. Moseley (St. George, Utah) was flying over Rouen, France, when his P-47 Thunderbolt got hit by German anti-aircraft fire.  The engine failed, so Lonnie bailed out, and landed deep inside enemy-occupied territory. The Germans were everywhere, searching for the pilot they had just shot down. That's when a Frenchman appeared from nowhere and told Lonnie to follow him. T his mysterious man was Lucien Lestang, an active member of the French Resistance.  Lucien, his wife Nellie, and their 20-year-old son Bernard, welcomed Lonnie into their home, and decided to risk their own lives to protect this American pilot.  Shortly after, Lucien's network created fake identification papers for him. Lonnie was now Louis René Meslin, a deaf and mute French farmhand.  More than two months after his arrival, Lonnie learnt that British soldiers were in a neighbouring village, but to get there, the American pilot would have to...

FIRST BATTLE OF PHILIPPI, 3RD OCT, 42 BC

Image
FIRST BATTLE OF PHILIPPI, 3RD OCT, 42 BC The battle would involve the largest number of troops in Roman warfare up to that point. 19 legions of 110,000 men on the Triumvirate side faced 17 Republican legions of 90,000 men.  The Triumvirs had a force of 13,000 cavalry and one extra legion stationed at nearby Amphipolis whilst the Republicans had two legions guarding the fleet and a cavalry force of 17,000 on the plain.  The Republican army was then, not only smaller but it also consisted of a much more varied mix of troops taken from across the empire. In the field Cassius took advantage of two mounds located above the plain of Philippi to make two fortified camps for his nine legions. Brutus and his eight legions camped at the foot of the mountains and a palisaded corridor was built to connect the two Republican armies.  Both camps received additional protection from the Gangites River. The two camps were a significant 2.7 km apart though, which meant the two armies could...

Born on this day. Frank Coe (October 1, 1851 – September 16, 1931). As a young man, Coe drifted to Lincoln County, New Mexico, where he worked as a farmer and ranch hand.  Frank and his cousin George, who regularly served together as the fiddlers at local dances, jointly invested in the county’s first thresher.  But just as their financial situation was improving, the Lincoln County War broke out, and both cousins found themselves fighting with the McSween faction. When the shooting subsided, the Coe's moved to San Juan County, then left New Mexico completely. In 1884 the Coe's returned to Lincoln County, and Frank and his wife of three years settled on a ranch which, in 1873, had been leased by the murderous Horrell brothers from Lampasas, Texas. Coe lived on this ranch until his death in 1931; he was survived by six children and his wife of 50 years.
