The culture of elongated skulls.

skull deformity was an ancient custom, in which a kind of change was made in which the human skull was intentionally deformed. The driver was probably born in Mongolia and the Asian steppes, though also in Sumerian culture and later in other Mesopotamian cultures, they used to lengthen their heads for religious reasons. Elongated skulls from the 9th millennium BC were also found.
The procedure of deforming the skull growth, is performed by applying force for a long time on the baby's skulls. As a result the skull is flattened, elongated, by dressing two wooden boards on the sides of the head, rounded by tying a cloth around the head. The process was performed immediately about a month after birth, and lasted about six months.
The custom of deforming the skull, was practiced in parts of the world. In Africa among the ethnic group Mangatus, it was believed that the extension of the skull lectured the gods. In Asia among the Huns, in America between the Maya and Inca, several hundred ancient cultures, are considered to have elongated skulls, as having a sixth sense and prophetic abilities, including becoming shamans, capable of recognizing future dangers and predicting the weather.
